Specialties
Through continued advanced education I strive to find the perfect cut, style and color for each person that I have the privilege of touching. I love to work with textured, curly hair and enjoy the challenge to enhance or tame the curl and texture. Color and texture are my passion. To truly create beautiful color that shows a person’s personality and enhances their best features, is what makes my career perfect for me.
I enjoy taking classic styles and taking them to new, modern creations. It is a great feeling to change the way a person looks and feels by creating great shapes with eyebrows, cuts and styles. Working with all different types of people is the most enjoyable part of my profession. I enjoyed working in the theatre with make-up, which inspired me to join the beauty world as a profession. Every day I am amazed by what I learn from each person that sits in my chair. I look forward to meeting new people and will strive to give you an exceptional experience.

- B.A. Theatre Arts and History, St. Cloud State University
- Cosmetology, Regency Beauty Academy 1994-1995
- Each year I continue to take courses in advanced education, many through the Aveda network. I have enjoyed classes with the Van Michael team, Antoinette Beenders, David Adams, Kurt Keifner, Rudy Miles and many more great artists through Aveda. I strove to attend all the Aveda Master Jams and Aveda Congress.
- Most recently I have been certified in So-Cap hair extensions as well as Platinum Seamless hair extensions. I attended the Aveda’s Spring make-up collection with Rudy Miles and the Spring color and cut collection with Rebecca Yarwood (Aveda) and Andrea Michelle (New Reflections). I also attended Aveda Men with Kurt Keifner to be able to give not only a great cut to my male guests, but also to work with color and gray blending. Currently, I will attend Red Chocolate with David Adams, an intensive color training, as well as a hairstyling class with Lisa Vann. I continually seek out new classes that will keep my skills on the forefront of current fashion
